Two Indonesian basketball teams will play their hearts out in front of the Entertainment Centre, as part of the Kings community-based programs. Kings players, Graham Dann and David Barlow, were there at the recent INDOMEDIA CUP 2004 competition. The Grand Final was won by the "Back to Back" Champions, Deceptikons over the Promethium Kings. Game to be scheduled for 5.30pm on the 29th of October, 2004. Teams to be playing for this magical game will be announced very soon. More details to come about ticket purchases.
ACBA Dragons vs ACBA Allstars to play at the Entertainment Centre Saturday 13th of November as the curtain raiser for the Kings vs Wildcats NBL game. Tickets for the game can be purchased for $14 each and can be used to watch both the ACBA and the NBL game. Details on www.acba.8m.com

News from the Olympics:

Australia finished the Olympics in 9th place and Shane Heal goes out of the Olympic games in fashion, shooting a game high 30 pts and 9/14 from 3pt.
Team USA finished in 3rd spot with a win over Lithuania .104-96 was the final score. Shawn Marion led the team with 22 pts in a disappointing display from Team USA during the course of their Olympic campaign. But the bronze is their's and they hold the record of having won a medal at every Olympics for the last 30 yrs.
Argentina have won their only medal in Olympic History by winning the Gold Medal over Italy 84-69. Led by Alberto Scola who scored 25 pts and Manu Ginobili. CONGRATS TO THE PLAYERS FROM ARGENTINA!!!
